Letter from the Editor
Let all the Islands and people of all nations Praise the Lord!
A special thank you shout out to all who supported Jesse and Abby as they went into the rainforest of Guyana for two weeks this past March. It was a very fruitful time! Lots of HARD WORK got done on a construction project of building the largest building in miles around. Hauling sand and concrete and building materials 5 hours up river was no small task. Yes there were spiders and snakes, poisonous ones, and a showing of an anaconda, not to mention the presence of piranhas in the river, where bathing took place regularly. PTL other than a good dose of concrete burns which were no small ordeal, all went well. Lots of lives were touched, relationships built, and the gospel given out. They went with a team of students from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University so there was ministry and fellowship among the team too. Enjoyed the fellowship and leadership of our “home sending church”, pastor David Rambarran, his wife Dianna, and Youth Leader Marken Exana. These folks do a lot to organize about 4 trips a year for a major contribution of time, money, and labor to one of the poorest countries of South America. So a huge THANK YOU to all who supported this endeavor. (Photo’s can be seen on Abby’s FB page)

Hey Guys, we are super excited about a very unique opportunity we have to serve God’s people through an upcoming missions trip. Last year we built a relationship with Dayspring International Nazarene church, a largely Guyanese church in South Florida. They are wonderful people who love the Lord and are pioneering work quite a bit of work in Guyana. This year Jesse and I, Abby, are going on a missions trip with the church and other young people from Nazarene Universities across the country, to the village of Oriella, in the rainforest of Guyana, several hours by boat upriver . We will be involved in building a community center, assisting with children’s and youth ministry and building relationships with the local church there. Your support for this trip would be hugely appreciated. We will depart on the 28th of February and return March 11th. Please let me know if you can support this with your prayers and financial support. You can give at the link below, send a check to Durocher Family Ministries to PO Box 170 Grand Rapids MN 55721 or text me at 218 259-2153 and I can give you instructions to a local deposit at any Bank of America in Your community.
